Apologetics

Statistically, about 85% of high school students who are Christian walk away from their faith by the time they go to college.  A major reason for this “walking away from the faith” is that many college students do not know why they believe what they do, nor can they defend what they believe from criticism of professors, and individuals of other religions.

Apologetics is basically a fancy word for “defending your faith”. An accented emphasis of Apologetics in Life Blood Ministries concerns the historical evidence that Jesus Christ raised from the dead. Everything depends on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If Jesus raised from the dead, then Christianity is true. If Jesus did not rise from the dead, than Christianity, is false. Considering half of an individual’s salvation depends on the resurrection (Romans 10:9), the resurrection is a very critical issue to strike.

Using the resurrection of Jesus Christ helps strengthen faith, and is an excellent tool for evangelism with people of all religions. The resurrection gets to the point of Jesus’ divinity, and love quickly.

We have debated the issue of Jesus’ resurrection being historical at Penn State and have presented on the material of Jesus’ resurrection.

We are not limited to the resurrection of Jesus. All Scripture must be defended, for years we have used apologetics in street ministry and college ministry.

If you want any of the staff members to do an apologetics seminary, or a teaching you may contact us on the Contact page of this web site.
